Texas Hold'em Poker 7.21

This no-nonsense implementation of Texas Hold 'Em poker lacks a fancy design or extensive features, but gameplay is speedy and solid. Once you launch the application's nonresizable interface, you'll see an overhead view of a poker table seating seven other players. Rounds of betting are fast, and if you fold, the game automatically plays out the computer hands so you won't have to twiddle your thumbs. This program's graphics are strictly average and there is no sound. Customization options include the ability to change the AI skill of the computer players, to choose from several deck styles, and to configure the maximum wager amount and bankroll. Texas Hold'em Poker lacks an extensive tutorial, but the Advice menu item will tell you your likelihood of winning the hand. After a certain amount of hands, the demo only will let you play one round at a time, accessible via the menus. Though this program seems unsuitable for novices or hard-core poker fiends, casual players who want to practice alone will likely find it an acceptable download.
